2022 ACC Tournament: Bracket, TV info for championship game
Duke and Virginia Tech will meet in the ACC Tournament title game on Saturday evening.
Duke is looking for its first ACC Tournament crown since 2019. That Blue Devils team was led by a trio of freshmen in Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish.
Virginia Tech has never played for the ACC title before. The Hokies joined the league in 2004 after previously playing in the Big East. Va Tech’s last — and only — conference tournament win came in 1979 as it won the Metro Conference title.
Duke got here by picking up close wins vs. Syracuse and Miami. The Hokies barely beat Clemson on Day 1 of the tournament but have since won comfortably vs. Notre Dame and UNC.
Duke beat Virginia Tech 76-65 during their lone meeting this season. That game took place back on Jan. 22 in Durham.
