2023 NCAA softball tournament schedule: ACC start times for Saturday, May 20
The 2023 NCAA softball tournament is off and running with regional action going down across the country!
The regional action continues Saturday, May 20 at 16 host sites throughout the country. A number of elimination games will be played Saturday with full regional action wrapping up Sunday, May 21.
Following the regionals, super regionals will be played May 25-28 leading up to the Women’s College World Series from June 1-8/9.
Out of the ACC, 6 teams are in action with 3 teams from the conference hosting regional action. 4 teams are also safely into the winners’ bracket coming out of Friday with Clemson, Duke, Virginia Tech and Florida State all winning their opening games.
The two teams fighting to stay alive on Saturday are Louisville and Notre Dame. The Cardinals dropped Friday’s game to Indiana and will face Northern Kentucky in Saturday’s elimination bracket of the Knoxville Regional. Meanwhile, the Irish dropped the opener to Oregon and will face Harvard in the Fayetteville Regional elimination bracket.

- No. 16 Clemson: vs. Auburn, 1 pm ET, ESPN
- No. 8 Duke: vs. Charlotte, 1 pm, ESPN+
- Virginia Tech: vs. No. 14 Georgia, 1 pm, ESPN2
- No. 3 Florida State: vs. UCF, 1 pm, ESPN+
- Louisville: vs. Northern Kentucky, 3:30 pm, ESPN+
- Notre Dame: vs. Harvard, 5:30 pm, ESPN2
