Week 5 is in the books.

Clemson solidified its place at No. 1 on this list with a victory over NC State. Wake Forest also moved up within the top 5 after an impressive road win in Tallahassee.

There was also big movement with North Carolina and Pittsburgh — and for different reasons.

Here’s a look at Saturday Road’s power rankings entering Week 6:

14. Virginia (Last week: 12)

Tony Elliott should get more time at Virginia, but things are not looking good right now for the ex-Clemson assistant. Brennan Armstrong looks lost midway through the season and Elliott doesn’t seem to have any answers.

13. Virginia Tech (Last week: 11)

Virginia Tech was non-competitive for the second week in a row. The Hokies’ offense is amongst the worst in the country — or at least the Power 5.

12. Georgia Tech (Last week: 14)

Georgia Tech beats a ranked Pittsburgh team on the road just a few days after parting ways with Geoff Collins. Unbelievable? Yes. Sustainable? Likely not.

11. Louisville (Last week: 8)

Tough loss for the Cardinals this week, who just weren’t able to move the ball in the 4th quarter after Malik Cunningham went out with an injury. Scott Satterfield’s seat could be getting warmer.

10. Boston College (Last week: 13)

Boston College picked up its first ACC win of the season this weekend vs. Louisville. Phil Jurkovec threw for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

9. Miami (Last week: 9)

After taking the bye week to evaluate it, Miami is sticking with Tyler Van Dyke this week as its starting quarterback. Van Dyke gets a vulnerable UNC defense this week in the Canes’ first ACC game of the year.

8. Pittsburgh (Last week: 4)

Pittsburgh lost at home to Georgia Tech this week in what might be the worst loss of the season for any ACC team. The Coastal is now wide open.

7. North Carolina (Last week: 10)

North Carolina’s defense finally showed up vs. Virginia Tech, limiting the Hokies to 3.9 yards per play. Time will tell if that performance has more to do with UNC’s growth or Virginia Tech’s abysmal attack.

6. Duke (Last week: 7)

Duke steamrolled Virginia this weekend, 38-17. Riley Leonard continues to prove himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC.

5. Syracuse (Last week: 6)

Syracuse took care of business — and then some — vs. Wagner over the weekend, winning 59-0 with a shortened second half. The Orange are 1 win away from bowl eligibility.

4. Florida State (Last week: 2)

The Noles had chances to beat Wake Forest on Saturday, but couldn’t make enough plays on 3rd down. The injury bug has caught Florida State at a bad time as it travels to face NC State this weekend and then hosts Clemson in Week 7.

3. NC State (Last week: 3)

NC State holds strong at No. 3 despite the disappointing showing vs. Clemson. The Wolfpack weren’t able to exploit a Clemson secondary that Wake Forest proved to be vulnerable the week before. NC State’s defense also had trouble stopping Clemson’s offense. NC State is good, but it is not elite.

2. Wake Forest (Last week: 5)

Wake Forest bounced back from its loss to Clemson with a convincing road win over an undefeated Florida State team. What Dave Clawson has turned this program into is incredibly impressive. No one does more with less.

1. Clemson (Last Week: 1)

Clemson left no doubt about who the best team in the ACC is over the last 2 weeks. That was especially true this weekend as it flattened an NC State team that has had this game circled for months.
