ACC/SEC Challenge action is just about ready to get rolling!
This will be the first year of the ACC/SEC Challenge for ESPN with the recent shakeup of broadcast rights. Previously, the ACC/Big Ten Challenge ran for 23 years and the SEC/Big 12 Challenge had been in play since 2013.
Those challenges are gone away with the Big Ten’s new media deal, but the ACC/SEC Challenge should be a fantastic event for all involved. Across Tuesday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 29, there will be 14 games between the SEC and ACC with coverage across ESPN’s platforms.
The action gets started with No. 21 Mississippi State facing Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. ET. The matchup of the night will pit No. 8 Miami against No. 12 Kentucky while Clemson vs. No. 23 Alabama will wrap up Tuesday’s action.
Wednesday will feature another top-20 matchup with No. 10 Tennessee traveling to face No. 17 UNC in Chapel Hill. No. 7 Duke also travels to face Arkansas in Fayetteville on Wednesday.
