The ACC saw plenty of movement in the latest AP Top 25 men’s basketball poll, as Virginia fell 7 spots following a loss to North Carolina, while Pitt entered the ranking after a win over Syracuse. Miami remained in the poll, but fell 3 spots to No. 16.

For Virginia, the Cavaliers took the biggest tumble to No. 13 Virginia took the biggest tumble as a loss to Boston College preceded the North Carolina loss last week.

Pitt at No. 25 is ranked for the first time since 2016 after it beat Georgia Tech and Syracuse last week.

Duke, NC State and Clemson were among the teams that received votes outside of the top 25.

At the top of the poll, the top 5 spots remained the same: Houston was No. 1 for the second straight week in the poll released Monday, Alabama is No. 2 Alabama and Kansas is No. 3. UCLA and Purdue rounded out the top 5, as the Boilermakers held at No. 5 despite a loss to No. 15 Indiana.
