Duke vs. North Carolina and Miami vs. Clemson: Underdog fantasy player over/under picks
ACC men’s basketball is back with 7 games on the slate for Saturday afternoon and evening.
There are multiple big games on the schedule, including a top-25 showdown between Miami and Clemson as well as a highly-anticipated meeting between rivals North Carolina and Duke.
Here’s a look at the ACC’s schedule for Saturday:

My picks for Saturday’s ACC slate
My first pick is Isaiah Wong under 22.5 points + rebounds + assists. Wong’s scoring and assist numbers have been down recently. He hasn’t scored 20+ points since Jan. 14 and is averaging only 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists over his last 5 games. Miami is also facing a Clemson team that boasts a top 50 defense nationally and the No. 3 defense in the ACC, according to KenPom.
Sticking with Miami-Clemson, I like Nijel Pack’s over 2.5 3-pointers made against the Tigers. Pack has hit this mark in 4 of his last 5 games and he’s been taking a high volume of 3-pointers recently. Since Dec. 30, Pack is averaging 7.1 3-point attempts per game (and 3.6 makes). Clemson’s defense also gives up 3-point attempts at an alarming rate — 41.4% of all shot attempts vs. the Tigers this season are from beyond the arc, per KenPom. That ranks No. 304 nationally.
Looking ahead to the main event, there’s 1 pick in North Carolina-Duke that sticks out: Armando Bacot under 10.5 rebounds. Bacot is one of the best rebounders in recent college basketball history, but he’s only hit this total in 2 of his previous 7 games vs. Duke. The Blue Devils are also an excellent rebounding team — they rank No. 2 nationally in offensive rebounding percentage and No. 58 in the country in defensive rebounding percentage, per KenPom. Bacot is averaging 11.3 rebounds per game this season, but I’m fading him in this spot.
How many picks should you make?
The more picks you string together, the higher the “multiplier” or payout. Of course, the more you string together, the less likely you are to win because all of the picks have to hit in order for you to win.
A 3-way parlay of the picks I listed above would pay out $60 on a $10 bet:
If you’re feeling more bold, you could pick Caleb Love’s “higher” points + rebounds + assists, which is currently set at 20.5. Love went over that line in both of Carolina’s wins vs. the Blue Devils last season. Adding a 4th pick would improve the potential payout to 10x.
