ESPN releases updated FPI rankings after Week 7, including 3 ACC teams in top 25
Three ACC teams are included in the latest edition of ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) top 25.
Pittsburgh, Clemson and North Carolina State each made the cut, with several more teams just missing the top 25. Miami, Virginia and North Carolina could each reach that threshold with impressive performances in Week 8.
Wake Forest, the ACC’s lone undefeated team, comes in at No. 36. The Demon Deacons are having a dream season, but have yet to completely win the respect of some computer models such as FPI.
Notre Dame also made the top-25, coming at No. 18.
