Florida State’s top quarterback target in the class of 2023, 4-star Brock Glenn, committed to Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.

Glenn made the announcement on his Instagram account.

Glenn was Florida State’s top QB target in this cycle following the decommitment of 4-star Chris Parson earlier this summer. He took multiple trips to Tallahassee over the course of his recruitment, but ultimately he chose the Buckeyes.

Glenn is the No. 17 quarterback in the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

It’s not clear where Florida State will turn to next. The Seminoles will likely have to focus on trying to flip a prospect who is currently committed to another program. Except for Parson, the top 45 quarterbacks in the country are currently committed to a school.

Overall, Florida State’s 2023 recruiting class is falling behind its peers at the top of the ACC. While Clemson and Miami both appear well on their way to building a top-10 class, FSU currently ranks No. 45 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Early Signing Period begins in December.
