Virginia and Virginia Tech will reportedly take part in an early-season doubleheader against a pair of SEC foes in the 2023-24 basketball season.

According to college hoops insider Jon Rothstein, the Cavs are set to play Florida and the Hokies will matchup against South Carolina in a Nov. 10 doubleheader. Those games are set to take place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.

Official tip-off times and other details have not been outlined to this point.

Virginia has rebounded from some early-season struggles this season and has won 11 of the last 12 games to climb up to No. 6 in the latest AP Poll. The Cavs are also a half-game ahead of Miami in the ACC standings with 4 games left in the regular season.

Virginia Tech has struggled this season and is 16-11 overall (6-10 in league play) after back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances under head coach Mike Young.
