Trio of ACC programs crack top 6 for class of 2024 safety out of Florida

A trio of ACC programs cracked the top 6 for class of 2024 safety Ashton Howard Monday afternoon.

Howard, a 3-star prospect out of Tallahassee, Florida, is set to enter his senior year at Florida State Univ. HS. Naturally, Florida State is one of the 6 programs he listed.

Florida State, Clemson and Miami cracked his list out of the ACC. Also included were the SEC trio of Arkansas, Florida and LSU.

Hampton is considered to be the No. 822 overall prospect in the nation, as well as the No. 79 safety and the No. 113 player in the state of Florida.

He has official visits to all 3 ACC schools listed, with Clemson’s visit rapidly approaching on June 2. He also has a visit scheduled to Miami on June 16 and one scheduled for FSU all the wya in December.
