The ACC has three teams included in this week’s AP Top 25 poll.

Wake Forest is still the top-ranked team in the league even after suffering a loss to North Carolina on Saturday. The Demon Deacons are now No. 13 heading into next week’s game vs. North Carolina State.

The Wolfpack, meanwhile, are at No. 21 in this week’s AP Poll. They’re coming off a comfortable win over Florida State this weekend. Quarterback Devin Leary added 4 more touchdowns to his remarkable season so far in 2021.

Pittsburgh is the other ACC representative to make the top 25. The Panthers thrashed Duke 45-7 in Week 10 and make their return to the top 25 after a one week absence. They still control their own destiny in the ACC Coastal.

No other ACC teams received votes. However, Virginia and Clemson are both 6-3 and could be under consideration in future weeks if those programs keep stacking up wins.

Notre Dame moved up to No. 7 in this week’s poll after defeating Navy on Saturday.

Next week, Wake Forest and North Carolina State will meet in what is likely to be one of the most consequential games of the ACC season. The winner will be in the driver’s seat for the ACC Atlantic title.
