Boston College’s offensive line has been dealing with injuries all season, but it will reportedly have to deal with at least one more setback.
According to Boston.com’s Trevor Hass, all five of the Eagles’ starting offensive linemen have been sick this week. They were limited in practice leading up to this week’s game, per the report, but will try to play vs. the Irish.
Boston College is playing for pride at this point in the season. The Eagles are 3-7 on the year and have already been eliminated from bowl eligibility.
However, that didn’t stop them from pulling off the upset last week on the road at NC State. Notre Dame will have play well in o
rder to beat Boston College on Saturday.
Notre Dame is favored by 21 points in this matchup. The Irish have been dominant in the trenches on both sides of the ball in most matchups this season, so Boston College’s limited offensive line could prove to be an issue.
Notre Dame is looking for its fifth consecutive win. The Irish have won seven straight games against Boston College in this series.
