Boston College reportedly has some finalists for its head coaching search, including Ohio State offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.
On Wednesday, head coach Ryan Day said O’Brien was still with the program
and even working inside the building with the Buckeyes. O’Brien recently joined the program as the new OC, but he is in the process of interviewing for the Boston College job.
According to college football insider Bruce Feldman, BC is down to two candidates as finalists for the job. O’Brien is among them after previous reports surfaced earlier in the week that O’Brien was expected to land the job.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the timeline for the expected hiring remains on track as previously reported. Per Thamel’s timeline, another round of in-person interviews is expected in the next 48 hours with multiple candidates expected to meet with officials.
