Boston College upset Louisville 34-33 at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles entered this game as nearly 2-touchdown underdogs, but found a way to win with good defense and a clutch field goal in the 4th quarter.

Louisville wasn’t able to score in the 4th quarter. The Cardinals’ offense stalled after Malik Cunningham exited the game with an injury. Brock Domann came in and completed just 1 of 7 passes for 19 yards.

Cunningham scored 4 total touchdowns before exiting the game. It was his second straight contest with at least 4 touchdowns.

For Boston College, it got a better —although not perfect — performance from Phil Jurkovec. He completed 18-of-21 passes for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also threw an interception and lost a fumble.

Receiver Zay Flowers was the best player on the field. He caught 5 passes for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Boston College is now 2-3 on the season and still has an outside chance to make a bowl game this season. The Eagles face Clemson in Week 6.
