Quinten Post, Boston College big man, announces plans for future in CBB

Quentin Post, Boston College’s top big man from last season, announced Wednesday that he would be entering his name into the NBA Draft Process while maintaining his college eligibility.

Post, a 7-footer who averaged 15 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season, originally committed to play at Mississippi State, spending 2 years in Starkville before transferring to Boston in 2021. He made an immediate impact upon arrival, becoming Boston College’s top rebounder.

He also won the ACC’s Most Improved Player for his play with the Eagles this season.

Boston College finished this season 16-17, their best record since 2018. While it won’t exactly turn heads, the Eagles made some progress in Year 2 under Earl Grant. Obviously, that unit would be bolstered even further should Post decide to return to college next season.
