Quinten Post, Boston College center, announces plans for future in college basketball

Quinten Post announced Saturday afternoon that he will be returning to Boston College to play his final season of college basketball.

Post left all of his options open after a strong junior season at Chestnut Hill. The former Mississippi State transfer was incredible for the Eagles in 2023, averaging 15.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He also averaged 1 block per game, standing at 7-foot while being Boston College’s top option at center.

Post entered the NBA Draft while maintaining his eligibility at the end of the season.

Post was named the ACC’s Most Improved Player last season and became a wildly efficient scorer.  Perhaps most dangerous of all, Post developed as a threat from beyond the arc, hitting at a 42% clip last season.
