Boston College is going to be shorthanded vs. Clemson Saturday night, per a report.

That’s according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who notes that running back Alex Broome, running back Alec Sinkfield, running back Cam Barfield, tight end George Takacs and right guard Finn Dirstine will all miss the Clemson game due to injury.

Cornerback CJ Burton and cornerback Jalen Cheek are also expected to miss the game.

Boston College already had a rough injury situation, especially along the offensive line. The Eagles have been dealing with injury woes at that position all season long.

Broome is BC’s second-leading rusher behind Pat Garwo. He has 21 carries for 118 yards and 1 touchdown this season. His 5.6 yards per carry leads all Boston College running backs.

Takacs is a Notre Dame transfer who has already caught 17 passes for 176 yards and 1 touchdown. Only star receiver Zay Flowers has more receiving production for BC this season.

Clemson is favored by 3 touchdowns in this game. The Tigers have won 11 straight meetings vs. Boston College.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
