Zay Flowers is off the board. The Baltimore Ravens selected Flowers with the No. 22 overall pick Thursday in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Flowers was rated 3-stars, the No. 163 Florida recruit, No. 135 wide receiver and No. 1,188 prospect overall in the 2019 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. He exceeded every expectation, signing with Boston College over scholarship offers from 28 other schools.
Flowers begins his NFL career after 4 seasons at Boston College. He played in 48 games for the Eagles. Flowers finished with 200 catches for 3,056 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Flowers finished his college career with a bang. He was named All-ACC First Team after setting a Boston College single-season record with 12 touchdowns while tying the record for receptions with 78. His 1,077 receiving yards are third-most in program history. Flowers’ standout season earned him Third Team All-American recognition from the Associated Press.
