Clemson defensive line target Caden Story will announce his commitment on National Signing Day.

The details of his announcement were confirmed by 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong on Thursday afternoon. Story will announce his commitment at 10:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

He’ll be choosing between Clemson, Auburn and Florida. He was previously committed to Auburn but chose to de-commit earlier this month.

Story visited Clemson last weekend. The Tigers are considered to the favorite to land his signature, according to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions. However, Story did visit Gainesville this week and it’s possible things may have changed.

If Clemson does land Story, it would be a big boost to its 2022 recruiting class. The Tigers lost several top defensive players when Brent Venables left to take the Oklahoma job in December. Clemson’s class currently ranks No. 11 in the country and No. 2 in the ACC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Clemson has picked up commitments this week from 3-star LB Kobe McCloud and 3-star safety Kylon Griffin.

National Signing Day is on Feb. 2.
