5-star QB prospect Arch Manning to visit Clemson for Florida State game
5-star QB prospect Arch Manning is expected to be in Death Valley for Clemson’s game vs. Florida State on Saturday, per multiple reports.
Manning, the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2023 per 247Sports Composite rankings, is a high-priority target for the Tigers. He has also visited Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas in recent months.
His visit to Ole Miss earlier this month made national news. The Rebels were retiring the number of Arch’s uncle, Eli Manning, and wrote “Manning” in each end zone.
This will be Manning’s second visit to Clemson in the last few months. He also took an unofficial to campus back in June. Manning attends Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds.
He spoke glowingly about the Tigers following his visit earlier this summer.
“Clemson, the culture over there is different and it was definitely a great place to visit,” Manning said, via 247Sports. “The people and the culture, I feel like everyone there is happy around the facility and it seems like a great environment and that’s something I’d want to be a part of.”
Clemson and Florida State kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
