ACC Network analysts Kelly Gramlich and Eric Mac Lain disagree on how Clemson’s season-opener vs. Georgia Tech will go on Monday night.

Both Gramlich and Mac Lain are picking the Tigers to win, but only Gramlich sees Clemson as covering the 23.5-point spread. The duo discussed the game on Monday’s edition of the Gramlich and Mac Lain podcast.

When Mac Lain brought up Clemson’s offensive issues from a year ago, Gramlich said she believes Clemson’s defense could help out by getting on the score board.

“The defense, to me, is going to score at least 7 in some way,” Gramlich said. “And I think Clemson is going to run the ball down their throats.”

Mac Lain said he wants to see more out of Clemson’s offense before picking them to cover a large spread.

“I love it, but until I see it, I don’t believe it,” Mac Lain said. “I’m picking Clemson to win the game … but I think they’re going to have to figure it out a little bit. It’s Game 1. I’m taking GT with the points but Clemson is going to win the game.”

Here’s the analysis from both Gramlich and Mac Lain:

Clemson has won 7 straight games vs. Georgia Tech.
