Clemson star Chase Hunter has missed the last 2 games for the Tigers and is set to miss at least one more. The Tigers announced Tuesday before tipoff that Hunter will be missing Clemson’s game against Georgia Tech.

Alex Hemenway, who has missed the last 8 games for the Tigers, will also not play Tuesday night.

Hunter was originally a game-time decision for the Tigers until the staff decided to sit him against the 8-11 Yellow Jackets. Clemson has won 8 of its last 9, dropping Hunter’s first missed game against Wake Forest last week.

That’s certainly noteworthy. Point guard duties now go to freshman Josh Beadle and sometimes senior Brevin Galloway, whose natural position is shooting guard. Obviously, the Tigers would love to have Hunter back in the lineup sooner rather than later.
