Clemson 2023 quarterback target Christopher Vizzina will be on campus this weekend, he announced on Friday afternoon.
Vizzina is one of several top 2023 prospects who are expected to be on campus for Clemson’s junior day. Here’s his announcement:
Vizzina is one of the top quarterback prospects in the country. He’s currently ranked as the No. 8 quarterback in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. He attends Briarwood Christian High School in Birmi
ngham, Alabama.
Vizzina would be following in the footsteps of 5-star quarterback Cade Klubnik, who signed with Clemson in its 2022 class. Klubnik is ranked as the top passer nationally in his class.
Clemson has just one commitment in the 2023 class so far — 4-star receiver Nathaniel Joseph. With the 2022 cycle coming to an end next week, expect the Tigers to fully shift their focus to 2023 in the coming days.
Vizzina is also drawing interest from programs like Auburn, Florida and Notre Dame.
