Clemson adds 2 under-the-radar prospects in class of 2022

Clemson picked up commitments from two prospects in the class of 2022 on Sunday afternoon.

First it was receiver Cole Turner, who is following in the footsteps of his older brother, Nolan. Nolan finished his Clemson career this season with 190 total tackles and 7 interceptions.

Here’s Cole’s announcement:

Next, it was defensive back Myles Oliver. The Douglasville, Georgia, native announced his decision on Twitter:

Both of these prospects have gone under-the-radar in recruiting circles. Neither has a rating on 247Sports, although Oliver did have an offer from Georgia Tech. Turner’s best offer was from Buffalo.

Clemson now has 14 commitments in the class of 2022. The Tigers’ class was decimated in December when defensive coordinator Brent Venables (Oklahoma) and offensive coordinator Tony Elliott (Virginia) both left for head coaching jobs.

However, the class still ranks No. 3 in the ACC and No. 25 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. C

lemson is expected to continue recruiting talent up until National Signing Day on Feb. 2.
