Clemson continues to add talent to its 2023 recruiting class.

The Tigers picked up another major commitment on Saturday afternoon from 4-star linebacker Dee Crayton.

Here’s his announcement:

Crayton is ranked as the No. 21 linebacker in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 316 overall player nationally.

Crayton was also considering Auburn, Penn State, Missouri and Central Florida.

He represents the continuation of a strong theme so far in Clemson’s 2023 class — the state of Georgia. Crayton is the 5th prospect from that state to give a verbal commitment to the Tigers so far in this cycle.

Crayton attends Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds.

Clemson is up to 12 commitments overall and has picked up 9 so far in the month of June. The class now ranks No. 3 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Crayton and other 2023 prospects will be able to officially sign with a program during the Early Signing Period in December.
