Clemson continues to add talent to its 2023 recruiting class.

The Tigers picked up a commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Ian Reed on Tuesday morning. Reed is Clemson’s second commitment in as many days, joining 4-star CB Avieon Terrell.

Here’s Reed’s announcement:

Reed is the No. 27 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 346 overall player in the nation.

He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 290 pounds. He attends Vandergrift High School in Austin, Texas. He also had offers from programs like Texas, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin, amongst others.

Reed was one of at least 30 high-profile official visitors who were on campus over the weekend for the Tigers’ massive recruiting event. He’s the first official visitor from that weekend to commit to Clemson.

The Tigers are starting to make major progress in the class of 2023. Their class got off to a slow start after losing both coordinators (Brent Venables to Oklahoma and Tony Elliott to Virginia) to head coaching jobs this offseason.

However, Clemson is now up to 6 commitments in the class of 2023. Led by 4-star QB commit Christopher Vizzina, the class ranks No. 16 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
