Clemson announces extensions for football staff, raises for 2 assistants

Clemson is keeping Dabo Swinney’s staff intact. Assistant coaches and support staffers all received 1-year extensions through the 2024 or 2025 seasons depending on their contracts. Two on-field position coaches received raises.

Jon Blau of The Post and Courier shared the details Friday morning on Twitter. Defensive line coach Nick Eason and cornerbacks coach Mike Reed each received pay bumps from $750,000 to $800,000 annually. They are part of the group extended through 2025.

It has been a busy offseason for Clemson football with the addition of Garrett Riley and now this round of raises and extensions. The Tigers are coming off of an 11-3 season in 2022, Swinney’s 14th as the full-time head coach.
