Clemson has set its captains for Saturday’s matchup against Syracuse.

The Tigers are going with safety RJ Mickens, tight end Jake Briningstool, running back Will Shipley and punter Aidan Swanson.

Mickens, a senior, has racked up 12 tackles and a pass deflection so far this season. Briningstool, a junior, has pulled in 10 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Shipley, a junior, has racked up 292 yards and a touchdown. Swanson, a senior, is averaging 47.7 yards per punt with a long of 62 yards.

Clemson will be looking to bounce back from last week’s overtime loss to Florida State. The Tigers came just shy of getting a huge upset, but after missing a field goal the Seminoles took the game in overtime.

It will be a tough task on Saturday as Syracuse comes into the game undefeated and looking to stay that way. Last week, Syracuse took down Army. The Orange are looking for a signature win before getting into two tough games against Florida State and North Carolina.
