Clemson basketball expected to set home-and-home series with top AAC program

Clemson basketball is set to add a home-and-home series with Memphis in the near future, according to a report from On3 writer Matt Connolly.

The Tigers x2 hold similar standings in the current state of college basketball. Clemson narrowly missed the NCAA tournament last season while Memphis cracked the field as an 8-seed. Should this series come to fruition it will be the first matchup ever between the 2 programs in men’s basketball.

According to the below report, Memphis would host next season’s matchup with Clemson hosting in 2024-25.

Clemson will look slightly different in 2023-24, but they also have the potential to be better than last season’s squad. The Tigers added Syracuse transfer Joe Girard III among 3 others, and will return both Chase Hunter and PJ Hall.

And after missing the NCAAT the past 2 seasons, Brad Brownell’s group is ready to make a run.
