Clemson added to its 2023 recruiting class on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers picked up a commitment from 3-star safety Rob Billings. He chose the Tigers over a group of finalists that included Florida State and Michigan.

Here’s his announcement:

Billings is the No. 57 safety in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 62 player from the state of Georgia.

Billings attends Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds.

Clemson is now up to 18 commitments in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 6 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. It’s also the top class in the ACC.

Like many of Clemson’s commitments in this cycle, Billings was on campus for a major recruiting weekend in early June. That trip was evidently impressive enough to get Billings to commit to the Tigers.
