Clemson beats out multiple SEC programs for elite WR out of Florida

Clemson landed a major commitment for its 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday.

The Tigers picked up a pledge from 4-star receiver TJ Moore. He chose Clemson over Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and several other top programs.

Here’s his announcement:

Moore is a significant addition for Clemson. He’s the No. 157 overall player and the No. 24 receiver in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Moore is also the No. 25 player from the Sunshine State.

He attends Tampa Catholic High School in Tampa, Fla. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds.

Clemson is having a strong week on the recruiting trail. Moore’s commitment comes just 1 day after the Tigers landed 5-star linebacker Sammy Brown as well.

Clemson now has 9 commitments in the class of 2024. The group ranks No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. However, Clemson’s overall ranking is expected to rise as more commits are added in the coming months. Seven of Clemson’s 9 commitments are 4-star prospects.

Here are some highlights from Moore’s junior season:
