Clemson made another major addition to its 2023 recruiting class on Monday afternoon.

The Tigers picked up a commitment from 4-star linebacker Jamal Anderson.

Here’s his announcement:

Anderson is the No. 11 linebacker in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 172 player nationally and the No. 17 player from the state of Georgia.

He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 202 pounds. He attends Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia.

This is Clemson’s sixth commitment since last weekend. The Tigers have bolstered their 2023 recruiting class over that time — a group that now ranks in the top-10 nationally.

Of those 6 commitments, Anderson is one of 4 who is considered a 4-star prospect, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He joins receiver Noble Johnson, cornerback Avieon Terrell and offensive lineman Ian Reed.

Anderson was one of at least 30 prospects who made an official visit to Clemson last weekend.

He chose the Tigers over offers from programs such as Utah, Michigan State and Penn State, amongst others.
