Clemson picked up another major commitment on Saturday morning.

The Tigers have added 4-star receiver Noble Johnson to their 2023 recruiting class.

Here’s his announcement:

Johnson is the No. 48 receiver in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also ranked No. 369 nationally.

He chose the Tigers over offers from programs like Arkansas, Louisville, Ole Miss and Tennessee, amongst others.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Johnson attends Rockwall High School in Rockwall, Texas. Rockwall is just northeast of the Dallas area.

Johnson is Clemson’s second commitment in the class of 2023 to be from the state of Texas, joining 4-star offensive tackle Ian Reed. He’s also Clemson’s second WR commitment in this cycle so far, joining 4-star Nathaniel Joseph.

Clemson is now up to 9 commitments in the 2023 class, with 5 of those coming in the last week. Earlier this month, the Tigers hosted at least 30 high-profile recruits on official visits. That strategy is clearly paying off in a big way for the Tigers.
