Terrell is the No. 32 cornerback prospect in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 32 player from the state of Georgia.

The Atlanta native becomes Clemson’s first commitment following a major recruiting event this past weekend. The Tigers hosted 30 prospects from around the country as they hope to begin adding to their 2023 class.

Terrell was not one of those visitors, but he did camp at Clemson earlier this month. He also had offers from programs like USC, Wisconsin and Florida State, amongst others.

Clemson is now up to 5 commitments in the class of 2023. The class ranks No. 24 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. More commitments are possible in the near future.

AJ Terrell played for Clemson from 2017-19. He was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He has 4 interceptions and 23 pass deflections in his first 2 NFL seasons.
