Clemson expected to return multiple key defensive players vs. North Carolina
Clemson shared some good news on its injury report on Saturday afternoon.
Linebacker Barrett Carter and Sheridan Jones were not listed on the team’s injury report after missing time in recent weeks with injuries. That gives Clemson a pair of defensive starters who will be crucial in the effort to stop this explosive Carolina offense.
However, cornerback Jeadyn Lukus and safety Jalyn Phillips remain out this week.
Clemson availability report for today's game is out … Players expected to be OUT today: CB Jeadyn Lukus and S Jalyn Phillips. This would indicate LB Barrett Carter and CB Sheridan Jones are IN for today

Clemson is also expected to get back safety Tyler Venables this week. Dabo Swinney told reporters earlier this week that Venables would be available for the first time this season after undergoing hip surgery earlier this year.
North Carolina’s offense has been a strength this season. The Tar Heels have been excellent through the air with Drake Maye having another great season. Running back Omarion Hampton has also emerged as one of the top backfield options in the country this year. They will provide a tough test for this Clemson defense in Week 12.
Clemson is favored by 7.5 points on Saturday against a ranked Carolina team. The Tigers have won 5 straight games in this series.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
