Clemson hoops among finalists for No. 1 player out of Virginia, 2024 PG prospect

Del Jones, the No. 1 player out of the state of Virginia in the Class of 2024, announced Tuesday that he has cut his list of offers to 8. Clemson is among the 8 programs, the only representative out of the ACC.

Jones is one of the top point guards in the Class of 2024, standing at 6-2, 180 pounds. Alongside Clemson, Jones is considering Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee, West Virginia, Providence, Oregon and Arizona State.

Jones is a solid 2-way player, thriving off his ability to drive the paint with an e

lite finishing ability. A good defender, Jones is an immediate impact type of player who can still improve his outside shooting with the speed of the college game upcoming.

He is a highly rated prospect, too. Jones is considered to be the No. 1 player out of the state of Virginia, as well as the No. 7 point guard prospect in the nation.
