Despite a 9-3 regular season a year ago, Clemson is the betting favorite to win the ACC again in 2022.
The Tigers struggled early on last season, but finished strong and nearly made it back to the ACC Championship Game. Instead it was Wake Forest winning the Atlantic, snapping Clemson’s streak of 6 straight ACC titles.
But looking ahead to 2022, Clemson is once again atop preseason rankings for the ACC. The Tigers boast arguably the top defensive front in the country and should be improved offensively this season.
According to odds released by FanDuel this week, Clemson is -150 to win the conference. That makes the Tigers a heavy favorite over Miami (+700) and the rest of the ACC.

Miami, Pitt and NC State are considered to be major contenders for the title as well. The Hurricanes and Wolfpack each return a quarterback (Tyler Van Dyke and Devin Leary, respectively) who are capable of earning 1st team All-ACC honors. The Panthers are the ACC’s defending champs.
