Clemson is trending up for 4-star athlete from Massachusetts
Clemson is in a good spot for 4-star athlete Ronan Hanafin, according to multiple projections.
Five national recruiting analysts — including 247Sports director of football recruiting Steve Wiltfong — have recently placed a Crystal Ball projection for Hanafin to pick the Tigers.
All five projections have come since Monday afternoon. Wiltfong filed his prediction on Tuesday morning.
If Clemson is able to earn a commitment from Hanafin, it would be a big-time addition for the Tigers. Hanafin is the No. 18 athlete and the No. 282 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Clemson wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham is listed as Hanafin’s primary recruiter, which could give an indication of where the Tigers plan to play him at the next level.
He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. He’s from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Hanafin also has offers from programs like Alabama, Notre Dame and Georgia. He took an official visit to Clemson back on June 3.
Clemson has 19 commitments so far in the class of 2023. The group ranks No. 7 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
