Clemson makes the cut for 4-star cornerback in class of 2024

Clemson is still in the running to obtain the services of an elite 4-star cornerback from Philadelphia.

4-star cornerback Omillio Agard has offers from over 30 schools, including powerhouses like Alabama and Michigan, and is one of the top cornerback prospects in the country for 2024.

On Monday, Agard announced on Twitter that he had narrowed down his recruitment to five schools: Clemson, Michigan, Penn State, Alabama and Tennessee. Agard also announced that he would be making his final decision in the summer of 2023.

Agard is the No. 255 overall prospect in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports C

omposite rankings. He’s also the No. 22 cornerback in the country and the No. 5 player from Pennsylvania.

It’s still very early in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Clemson has just two commitments so far: 4-star Tavoy Feagin and unranked kicker Nolan Hauser.

With the 2023 cycle coming to a close in the coming weeks, Clemson will likely start to make more progress in 2024 sooner rather than later.
