Bowles attends Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 2015 pounds.
He’s the son of Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles, who replaced Bruce Arians earlier this offseason.
Troy is developing like a potential future NFL player down the road. He’s the No. 2 linebacker in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports. He does not currently have a composite ranking.
Bowles would be a major addition for Clemson. The Tigers are in the midst of rebuilding their 2023 recruiting class after losing both coordinators to head coaching jobs this offseason.
As it stands, Clemson’s 2023 class ranks No. 30 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The Tigers have 4 commitments so far in this cycle.
