Clemson named a finalist for 4-star OL from Texas in class of 2024

Clemson was named a finalist for 4-star offensive lineman Blake Frazier on Friday afternoon.

In addition to the Tigers, Frazier is also still considering Michigan, Texas, Florida and LSU.

Here’s his announcement:

Frazier is from Austin, Texas. He attends Vandegrift High School and is listed at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds.

Clemson has had a lot of success recruiting the Austin area in recent cycles. In the class of 2023, Clemson signed offensive lineman Ian Reed who also attended Vandegrift High School. Reed was 1 of 3 players from Texas to sign with the Tigers last cycle. Starting quarterback Cade Klubnik is also from the Austin area.

Frazier would be a big addition for Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 204 overall player and the No. 15 offensive tackle in the country for the cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Clemson is off to a strong start in the class of 2024. The Tigers already have 6 commitments in this cycle. Overall, the group ranks No. 15 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
