Clemson is a finalist for 4-star tight end Christian Bentancur.

On Tuesday, Bentancur announced his final 3 programs: Clemson, Oregon and Ohio State.

Here’s his announcement:

Bentancur is one of the top tight ends in the country for the class of 2024. He currently ranks as the No. 102 overall player and the No. 4 tight end nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 240 pounds. Bentancur attends Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, Illinois.

Bentancur is expected to make his decision in January. He has become Clemson’s top target at his position in the class of 2024. He took a visit to Death Valley back in November:

Clemson currently has two commitments in the class of 2024: 4-star defensive back Tavoy Feagin and kicker Nolan Hauser. With the class of 2023 winding down, the Tigers are expected to ramp up their recruitment of 2024 prospects in the coming months.
