4-star receiver Andre Greene Jr. has set a commitment date.

He’ll be announcing on Nov. 17, according to On3. He has a final three of Clemson, North Carolina and Georgia.

Greene is a 4-star prospect and is the No. 9 receiver in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He also holds offers from programs such as Oregon, Penn State and LSU, amongst others.

The timing of this announcement could be beneficial for the Tigers. He’s set to visit Death Valley on Nov. 13, per 247Sports, less than a week before making a final decision.

Greene took official visits to North Carolina and Georgia during the summer.

He hails from Richmond, Virginia, and is listed at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds.

North Carolina and Clemson currently have the 2 best recruiting classes in the ACC for the 2022 cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The Tar Heels rank No. 9 nationally and the Tigers are at No. 10.

Greene will be able to officially sign with his program of choice during the Early Signing Period in December.
