Clemson opened on Sunday as a betting favorite over hated rivalry South Carolina.

Early odds from Circa Sports have the Tigers as a 9-point favorite in the Palmetto Series. The over/under was set at 51.5 points.

Both Clemson and South Carolina enter Saturday’s Week 13 game on 3-game winning streaks and have bounced back from some tough times in the middle of the season.

Clemson got a solid 31-20 home win against North Carolina last week. South Carolina hung on for a 17-14 win against Kentucky.

Both teams are playing for something. Many people have said that Clemson is done being a contender after the struggles early in the season, but Dabo Swinney has been saying this team is about to have a breakout. For South Carolina, the Gamecocks were 2-6, but are now just one win away from being in a bowl game.

Last year when these two teams played, South Carolina pulled off a shocking 31-30 win at Clemson. The loss knocked the Tigers out of Playoff contention. Revenge will be on the mind of Clemson, and the Tigers can knock their rivals out of bowl contention with a road win.

Kickoff between the two teams is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
