Clemson puts 2 players on Pro Football Focus’ freshman All-America team

Clemson had a pair of standout freshman of the offensive side of the ball this season.

Both receiver Antonio Williams and right tackle Blake Miller made Pro Football Focus’ freshman All-America team for their contributions in 2022.

Here’s the full team:

Williams was Clemson’s No. 1 receiver this year. He led the team with 50 receptions for 523 yards. No other Clemson wide receiver had more than 28 receptions or 396 yards. Williams also scored four touchdowns, which was second on the team.

Miller was a starter from Day 1, beating out several other more experienced players for the starting right tackle job. Walker Parks, who started in that role last season, moved over t

o right guard to accommodate Miller’s emergence. Miller was the first true freshman at Clemson to start Week 1 at offensive tackle since Mitchell Hyatt in 2015.

Both players are expected to play major roles for Clemson in the future. Other freshmen from Clemson’s 2022 signing class, like Adam Randall, Cade Klubnik and Jeadyn Lukus, will likely play a bigger role in 2023.

Clemson faces North Carolina in the ACC Championship Game at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
