Clemson has soared up the recruiting rankings this week after picking up a trio of elite recruits.

The Tigers now find themselves with the No. 8 class nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

The surge started on Monday when 5-star linebacker Sammy Brown committed to Clemson. Brown had offers from programs across the country and is now the top-ranked recruit in the Tigers’ class.

Brown is the No. 14 overall player and the No. 2 linebacker in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment brought Clemson’s class into the top 20 nationally.

However, the Tigers were far from done. On Tuesday, they picked up a pledge from 4-star receiver TJ Moore. He became the 10th member of Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class.

Moore is the No. 157 overall player and the No. 24 receiver in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He picked Clemson over Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, amongst others.

Finally, Clemson closed out Tuesday night with another elite recruit: 4-star receiver Bryant Wesco. With his commitment, Clemson now has the No. 8-ranked class in the country and 11 total recruits. Nine of those commitments are 4-or-5-star prospects.

Wesco is bordering on 5-star status and is the No. 37 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. A Texas native, Wesco chose Clemson over Oklahoma and USC.

Clemson has jumped over Florida State (No. 9) for the top-ranked class in the ACC so far this cycle.

The Tigers now have 11 commitments in the class of 2024. Every team above Clemson in the rankings has at least 13 commits, so it’s possible the Tigers will continue to move up the leaderboard as they add new recruits in the coming weeks and months.
