ESPN’s Heather Dinich is finally a believer in Clemson.

Dinich said on Wednesday morning that she put the Tigers in her top 4 for the first time this season following their dominant win vs. NC State over the weekend.

“I have Clemson in my top 4 this week for the first time this season and the reason is because they put together the most complete game I’ve seen them play,” Dinich said on ‘Get Up’ on Wednesday morning. “Defensively, they were good. DJ Uiagalelei has been much better at quarterback than he was a year ago.

“And they have 2 wins against ranked opponents now in NC State and Wake Forest. They’ve asserted themselves not only as the team to beat in the Atlantic division, but the CFP.”

ESPN’s Football Power Index is giving Clemson a 52.6% chance to reach the College Football Playoff.

Clemson is now in the driver’s seat to win the Atlantic division title. The Tigers have already picked up wins vs. Wake Forest and the Wolfpack — two of their biggest competitors for that crown.

Clemson will likely be favored in every game the rest of the season. It does have a pair of difficult road tests remaining vs. Florida State and Notre Dame. The Tigers also will host a potentially-undefeated Syracuse team later this month.

The Tigers are looking to get back to the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2020.

Clemson is on the road at Boston College this week. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
