College GameDay airs emotional tribute to Ella Bresee

Bryan Bresee’s younger sister, Ella Bresee, passed away last month after a battle with brain cancer.

On Saturday morning, College GameDay aired an emotional story detailing Ella’s journey and her impact on Clemson.

Here it is:

Nine days after Ella’s death, Bryan returned to the Tigers’ defensive line and helped Clemson to a double-overtime win over Wake Forest. At the end of this story, Bryan acknowledged his sister in a beautiful way.

“Just having this support and … my family able to c

ome here, just having them around me means the world,” Bresee said. “It’s tough but I know she’s up there watching me.”

Clemson has honored Ella’s fight by wearing “Ella Strong” shirts during pregame warmups this season.

Bresee and the Tigers will be in action again on Saturday evening against NC State. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
