College GameDay has made their picks for Clemson vs. Syracuse in Week 5.

Aside from Duke-Notre Dame, this is arguably the game-of-the-week in the ACC. Clemson is searching for its first ACC win while the Orange are looking to move to 5-0 on the season.

Here’s how GameDay’s panel of experts is picking this game:

  • Desmond Howard: Syracuse
  • Pat McAfee: Clemson
  • Ken Jeong (guest picker): Clemson
  • Lee Corso: Syracuse
  • Kirk Herbstreit: Clemson

“Clemson’s going to say, ‘we’re still here,'” McAfee said. “Big win in the Carrier Dome for the Tigers.”

Clemson has won 9 of its last 10 against the Orange, including 5 in a row. However, Syracuse has played the Tigers tight in recent years. Last season, Syracuse fell 27-21 in this matchup but nearly pulled off the upset in Death Valley.

Clemson is coming off of a devastating overtime loss to Florida State in Week 4. The Tigers are now 0-2 on the season in ACC play, making this a must-win game if they want to keep their ACC title hopes alive.

Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on ABC.
