Dabo Swinney updates injury status for several Clemson starters ahead of Miami game
Dabo Swinney shared an important injury update during his weekly press conference on Tuesday morning.
Swinney said the Tigers are expecting to be at full strength when they face Miami this weekend. That includes a trio of starters who missed the Wake Forest game due to injury: Antonio Williams, Nate Wiggins and Sheridan Jones.
“We anticipate having everybody,” Swinney said.
Dabo Swinney: "We anticipate having everybody" for the Miami game coming off the bye week. That would include WR Antonio Williams (ankle), CB Nate Wiggins (knee) and CB Sheridan Jones (headaches, sickness) — three starters who missed the Wake Forest game

Williams has been dealing with an ankle injury but is one of Clemson’s top receivers when healthy. In three games this season, he has 15 catches for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. Williams has been out since Week 3.
Wiggins and Jones are Clemson’s starting cornerbacks. The Tigers’ secondary has been amongst the best in the country to this point in the season, so getting that duo back will be a big boost ahead of facing Miami’s efficient offense. Clemson has the No. 2 pass defense efficiency rating in the ACC through Week 7.
This is a must-win game for Clemson, who is looking to avoid its third ACC loss of the season. The Tigers are currently riding a two-game winning streak.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
